As much as I would have loved to sleep in on my mini vacation, my body it too accustomed to waking up early. So after lounging around in bed for a bit we got up, got dressed and headed out for the day. My husband took me to Mon Ami Gabi restaurant at the Paris Las Vegas.
He had already been there this past January and he said the food was good. Well he wasn’t wrong. I ordered a Crepe with Chicken, Apples and Brie. I didn’t think of chicken as a breakfast item, but it was perfect. Just look at it.
My husband ordered egg and bacon (not pictured). The bacon was thick and full of flavor. We also ordered some blueberry and pear skinny pancakes. Otherwise know to me as crepes. These were huge and they were nice and crispy around the edges. We ate as much as we could, but couldn’t finish them all. The portions at Mon Ami Gabi were quite generous and our wallets didn’t have to cringe at the prices, as they were fairly reasonable.
The atmosphere was so quaint. We sat inside, but it was mostly open to the outside. You could almost pretend you were actually sitting at a cafe in Paris. Okay so you have to disregard the palm trees and the many cars zooming by and the huge casino in front. But hey, otherwise it works.
This was a great way to start off the day. Good food, good service, and good price. Then we were off the explore the new casinos that were built since we came to Vegas the last time.
