This ginger fried rice I shot for Food52 last week was delicious, and definitely something I wanted to share with you all.
Rice—and it needn’t be left over—is cooked comfort-food soft alongside soft, delicate leeks. Garnished with a fried egg however you like it, crisped ginger and garlic, and fragrant sauces, it’s a deconstructed version of one of my favorite things to eat in the world.
